Do you treat business lunches as an extension of your work day?

Business meals with customers should be treated as work time. Determine in advance what you want to accomplish. Then, don't "turn to the right or the left" (Prov. 4:26 NASB).

Don't ask questions about the menu. Order something simple—skip the extra courses. You can't talk with your mouth full.

Focus on the customer.

Keep a note pad out to jot down notes. Furthermore, while relational small talk may be helpful, don't lose sight of your goals for the meeting.

Stay focused, and your business meals will yield fruit.
