Do you follow through on promises made to staff?

Scripture teaches, "Hope deferred makes the heart sick" (Proverbs 13:12, NASB).

A business owner or manager may promise a future benefit, a higher salary, more vacation, an extra day off or a promotion.

If we fail to deliver what was promised or implied, staff morale will plummet.

Even the delay of action will steal the joy of the ultimate reward promised.

In the future, never promise or imply what you cannot deliver timely.

Follow through on all promises made to staff and watch as improved morale serves customers well.
