We owe our boss and company our best efforts and are responsible to take on extra tasks when asked whenever possible.
Saying, "It's not my job" won't help. Remember our company and its customers pay our salary.
Develop the habit of accepting additional tasks or picking up the slack when possible, and the boss will notice your value and success will follow.
