David E. Stuckey is a native Texan, born to a small town, Southern Baptist pastor's family on June 27, 1947. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Hardin-Simmons University in Secondary Education: Drama and Speech and is certified to teach the learning disabled. He taught special education for six years.
At HSU, David was chosen the Outstanding Young Man in Education for 1969, was in Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities, and also won the Speech Department Award for that same year. In 1978, he earned a Master of Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio and became the Chief of Alcoholism Services for Abilene Regional Mental Health-Mental Retardation Center in Abilene, Texas. Later he became Chief of Mental Health Services. He worked for ARMH-MRC for ten years before starting a private practice of psychotherapy in 1988. He has taught college courses for Cisco Junior College and McMurry University in the Human Services field. He was a Licensed Master of Social Work, with Advanced Clinical Practitioner recognition, and a Licensed Professional Counselor. In 1992, David was filled with the Holy Spirit and called to preach, teach, and start a ministry while still maintaining a private practice in psychotherapy. That ministry (Fulness of God Ministries) became a church (The Church of the Fulness of God) in 1994. In 1998, David closed his psychotherapy practice and now pastors full time. David has been gifted with the anointing to present the gospel in a practical way, teaching how to apply the Word of God to every situation and live by faith thereby producing breakthroughs in every area of life. The Lord has taken all of David's training as a master psychotherapist and added the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God and produced a message of transformation that is second to none. |
