 Morris entered into the ministry at the age of eighteen. At nineteen, he was serving as a pastor. Ordained as a Baptist minister, a deep hunger for the things of God along with the conviction from his study of the scriptures that God's miracle power is still active today resulted in Morris receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
He and his wife Angela, a native of Plainfield, IN, met at a church where Morris was a guest minister. They were married in 1991. Together, Morris and Angela have served three churches as pastors. In 2001, they founded Mott Ministries and Faith Country Music, which encourages congregations and introduces men and women throughout the United States and portions of Canada to the good news of life in Christ. They pioneered Christ Church in their hometown of Plainfield, IN in September 2010. Morris and Angela serve as the pastors of this growing church. They have two children, Jace and Abigail. |
