 Jamey Hammond comes from a ministry family. His grandfather, Mac Hammond, is the head pastor at Living Word Christian Center, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Jamey has had the privilege of growing up in the ministry and felt the call of God to minister at a very young age. Jamey ministered his first message in an Indonesian village at the age of 10. Jamey ministered at The Fifth Service, a weekly Friday night service. He was the pastor at Living Word St. Paul with his wife Taylor Hammond until holding church in a public, rented facility in the city became difficult to remain open.
Jamey has also had the privilege of being trained in many areas of Living Word Christian Center. Jamey spent one year at Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jamey has ministered in other churches around the United States, as well as overseas in France and Indonesia. His heart is to preach the true Gospel that was revealed to Paul that unveils the loveliness, excellencies, beauties, and perfections of Jesus and the power of His finished work. Jamey preaches the Gospel of grace radically, where the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, for that is the power of God unto salvation. His messages focus on the person of Jesus, and the grace and righteousness of God. The mission that Jamey is preaching would simply point people to Christ. If they see Him for who He really is, there will be a body of believers completely in love with their Savior and to see Jesus unveiled. This revelation will transform generations from glory to glory. |
