 Pastor Baltimore Medina is a dynamic, passionate, and powerful speaker, a family man who has been married to his beautiful Queen, Chelsea, since 2008, and a father to four exceptional children. His whole soul's purpose is to influence others to "Experience Lyfe the Way God Intended."
Originally born in Florida, his family moved to southern Texas at a young age. It was there he was influenced to join the gang lifestyle. To escape the family tradition of gang banging, Baltimore's mother decided to relocate her family to the land of 10,000 lakes, Minnesota. With many setbacks and defining moments, Baltimore concluded the gang mentality was not the right life for him. He decided to take his life in a new direction. A year into his new journey, he met a couple he would eventually come to refer to as his "spiritual parents." One night in 2001, while attending a concert, Baltimore's life changed dramatically. He took a spiritual leap and entered into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The Lord called Baltimore to a five-fold calling, and he pursued that calling by entering a four-year Bible internship to receive biblical training. During this time, a new passion was birthed within him—the love of Hip-Hop music. Since then, he has traveled a large portion of the world using Hip-Hop to minister God's Truth. In Mid-2014, he adopted the slogan "Taste and See," and YumLyfe Ministries was born! His mission statement, "Experience Lyfe the Way God Intended," pole-vaulted him into being a voice to this generation using new methods but unchanging Truth. Since 2008, Pastor Baltimore has been a member of Living Word; he became one of Living Word's staff pastors in 2016. During his time at Living Word, he has served at The Wells at 7th Street, was Chaplain for Maranatha Christian Academy, and currently oversees the Care and Counseling Department at our main campus. |
