Are angels allowed to preach the Gospel to people?

During the current dispensation in which we live - the church age - angels are not permitted to preach or share the Gospel (the message of Jesus) with people. They are, however, involved in the process of people being saved or born again. Let's look at a Biblical example:
And he (Cornelius, Acts 10:1-48) told us how he had seen an angel standing in his house, who said to him, "Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon whose surname is Peter, who will tell you words by which you and all your household will be saved."
(Acts 11:13-14 NKJV)
An angel appeared to Cornelius and gave him instructions on how to find Peter. The angel said that Peter would tell him words (the Gospel) that would bring him salvation. It seems that it would have been easier for the angel to simply share the Gospel with Cornelius.

Nevertheless, God desires and has declared that Christians should preach the Gospel. However, once we enter into the great tribulation period, a different dispensation, the angels will assist man in the preaching of the Gospel.
Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth; to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people; saying with a loud voice, "Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water."
(Rev. 14:6-7 NKJV)
