Colossians 3:8-9 (NLT)
But now is the time to get rid of anger, rage, malicious behavior, slander, and dirty language. Don’t lie to each other, for you have stripped off your old evil nature and all its wicked deeds.

If you have accepted Christ into your life as your Lord, then it’s time to put off the bad things you used to do when you were not saved. It’s time to start over.

God will give you the strength to get rid of every one of the things mentioned above. You will need patience with yourself since the change in behavior takes time as you grow and mature in the Lord.

Verses 12-14 of Colossians 3 say “you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience… forgive the person who offends you… And the most important piece of clothing you must wear is love.”

We, as Christian women in the workplace, must show these traits. Otherwise, how can we make a difference or be noticed? When you have a change of heart and, consequently, of behavior, people will want to know why.

That is your opportunity to share the Gospel. Sometimes, you won’t have to say a word; just be your new self.
