"For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8).

Where does sickness come from? We have to find the source of the problem before we can get rid of it. So let's look at the reason Jesus came to earth. First John 3:8 says He came "to destroy the works of the devil." What are the works Jesus came to destroy? Sin, poverty, sickness, and disease.

I know people who are just beginning to walk by faith. But even though they are learning to believe and confess the truth of God's Word, they still have that old, doubt-filled thought following them around: "God may want me sick for a purpose. This sickness may be sent from God to teach me something."

If that's what you're thinking, you won't be healed. Your faith will never operate beyond your knowledge of God's will. You have to know healing is God's will before you can believe for it.

So feed your spirit on healing Scriptures that tell you God wants you healthy and whole. Fill your mind with the Word so those old, doubt-filled thoughts can't even find a way to get in! Your faith can make you whole - if you know what you believe!

Confession:
It's God's will for me to be healed and live in health.
Sickness doesn't come from God, and He doesn't use
sickness to teach me. Jesus destroyed the works of the
devil, so I live free of sickness and disease!
