“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.”
The Holy Spirit will give you the life that comes from Christ Jesus and He will set you free from the law of sin and death. Sin and death will no longer set their standards over your life. There’s a new standard set by the Spirit and He gives you His strength and His life through Jesus Christ. It’s His life in us that frees us from the standard and the power of sin and death.
The Message Bible says: “A new power is in operation. The Spirit of life in Christ, like a strong wind, has magnificently cleared the air, freeing you from a fated lifetime of brutal tyranny at the hands of sin and death.”
The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus is enforced by all the power of heaven. The more I receive from the Spirit of God the less sin and death works against me in my daily life. The more I yield my life to God the less I yield to things that turn around and bite me badly. Thank God for Jesus who frees me from such things.
Sin and death have no power over me, because the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and of death.
