Love God and Inherit Substance

by Keith Butler | The Anointed Word

“That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures” (Prov. 8:21).

You can minister unto the Lord with your substance by praising God, and you can minister unto the Lord with your substance by worshipping God, but you can also minister to the Lord by your display of love toward God.

Your love for God will cause you to inherit substance.

Notice, those who love Him will not only inherit substance, but God will fill their treasures. Now that’s a promise from God. God will restore to you what you have lost, but this Scripture is talking about filling your treasures with things you never had before. You see God is talking about overflow.

God wants to fill your treasures. And when your treasures are full, then there is no lack. And when there is no lack, then there is something left over. And when there is something left over, then you will be able to minister to somebody else.

That’s why I get so excited when I talk about this subject. I know about this. I went from a low salary, surrounded by lack, to a place of having plenty. Why? Because I love the Lord and I minister unto the Lord. I found out His Word is true.

When you love God, He will honor you. Today, people only want to recognize what you have, such as your money or riches, but honor is important too. God doesn’t want you to honor yourself; but God does want you honored. When God honors you, He will lift you up or exalt you in front of other people.

God will promote you. When God opens the door to you, no man can shut it. Just like Noah in the flood. You see, Noah obeyed God. And when the people finally realized Noah was right, it was too late. They wanted Noah to open the door, but God shut the door and no man could open it.

I am here to tell you, pour your love on God and He will start raining in your life like never before. They can talk about you, come up against you, and do all kinds of things against you, but when God opens the door of blessing on your life, no man can shut it because God is in the overflow & plenty business.
