“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord” (Luke 4:18-19).
Healing power is available for you now. You don’t have to wait another moment for your healing. Receive your healing now, by faith.
You might be bedridden. You may say, “Oh, I wish I could go to that church and have that pastor lay hands on me.” You don’t have to have me lay hands on you. Right where you are you can receive your healing. You might not be able to open your mouth, but God can hear you say, “Thank you Father, I am healed.” He’s God. He can hear you when your lips can’t move.
Thank God for special ministries, but you don’t have to wait on so and so to come to town to receive your healing. You don’t have to wait until you get to a healing service to access the healing power of God. All you need is your faith.
Jesus said in Luke 4:21, It is fulfilled today. It’s all settled. Now, you’re healed. It doesn’t matter who ministers healing to you. It can be a child, full of faith. Our school, Faith Christian Academy, is filled with kids full of faith.
A few years ago I went over to the school, and in the natural, I did not feel very good. I probably looked bad. I came in to one of the kindergarten classes, and was attacked by the kids hugging me, saying, “Pastor, pastor, we love you pastor.”
There was this cute little 5-year-old girl who looked at me and said, “Pastor, what’s the matter?” Now, I’m the pastor of the church of thousands of people—nationally known. I said, “I’m not feeling too good, but that doesn’t mean anything. Bless God, I’m going to walk in healing anyway.”
As soon as I got that word out of my mouth she attacked me. She said, “Come out you devil, in the name of Jesus.” And do you know what happened? I got healed right there.
You don’t have to have someone come to you to get you healed. You’ve got the word of God and faith in God; and wherever you are there’s healing. There’s healing power in your car. There’s healing power around your desk.
There’s healing power in your bedroom. There’s healing power in your closet. There’s healing power everywhere you are. Healing power is available for you right now.
