Prayer Armor

by Tim Davidson | Uncategorized

“With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints.”

(Eph 6:18)

Following the description of our armor, Paul tells us to pray. The real reason God equips us so wonderfully with the armor of God is be effective in our prayer life. As Christians, we must be praying regularly, to fulfill our divine destiny.

The Message Bible says: “In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.”

We must never stop praying, especially for others. We are exhorted to always pray by the power of the Holy Spirit. The prayer assignment God gives is to undo the effects of sin and darkness. We need to stay alert and continue praying. By praying with all manner of prayer in the Spirit and by staying alert and watchful, we provide a ground for freedom others can stand on in their lives. Make sure you have on your prayer armor and then change your world through prayer.

Today’s Thought to Take With You:

I will do my part to pray and make petitions at all times in the Spirit for all saints.
