“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God” (Rom. 8:14 KJV).
The Holy Spirit pulls out each one of the fruit of the spirit when the flesh wants to go in the opposite direction. The flesh wants to fight, and the fruit of love will come up. The flesh wants to get worried and peace will rise up. The flesh wants to get depressed, and joy will come up. The flesh is anxious, and longsuffering will come up.
In other words, the fruit and the flesh don’t operate together. Being led of the Holy Spirit, checking to see what is inside of you and which way God wants to go will bring you to the place where you don’t operate under the law of sin and death. The law of sin and death will destroy you and whoever you are dealing with.
There are two master laws that govern everything in the planet. There is the law of sin and death, which is under Satan. Everything you can think of that is negative comes under that – sickness, disease, poverty, fear, lack, and depression. You name it. It all comes under the law of sin and death.
Then there is the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus (Romans 8) that has made me free from the law of sin and death. Everything that is good comes under the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. Notice that it is the spirit of life. The Spirit he’s talking about is the Holy Spirit, and He’s the one that puts all these life forces in you.
Now, you can choose to be led of the Holy Spirit or led of the flesh. The Word in Romans tell us that if you are led of the flesh you will have corruption. If you are led of the spirit you will have life everlasting. Be led of the Spirit of Life. When you are led of the Spirit, you will see good everywhere you go and in everything you do.
