The Just Shall Live by Faith

by Keith Butler | Uncategorized

“For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith” (Rom. 1:17 KJV).

The just are those who have been declared righteous. If you have been declared righteous, there is faith inside of you. You can believe it. And if you can believe it, you can receive it.

And if you can receive it, you can walk in it. And if you can walk in it, you can have it. And if you can have it, you can give it away to somebody else, and get it back to you good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over.

Walking by faith is a character trait. It is a character trait that God has. Therefore, a man of God is a man who walks by faith as a lifestyle. A man of God is a faith man. He is a love man. He is a joy man. He is a meek man. A man of God is all of the nine fruits of the spirit.

I’m starting to see that God didn’t leave me defenseless. He didn’t say, “Just hold on that you might get through to the end.” You aren’t supposed to be holding on to anything. You are supposed to be walking by faith. You are supposed to be blowing away mountains. You are supposed to be acting like God. You are His army. The gates of Hell can’t stand up against you.

When you walk by faith you get the blessings of Abraham. That doesn’t mean anything until you then read what Abraham had. It said that Abraham was blessed in all things. He was blessed in his body, blessed in his money, blessed in his lifestyle, blessed in whatever he did. And the Word of God said that man that walks by faith is blessed just like him.

You can be blessed in everything. You can be blessed in your family. Your children can all be saved, filled with the Holy Ghost, living for God. You can have more than enough. Your needs can be met with much left over.

You can be promoted in all you get involved in. You just go up and up and up. And folks will wonder how in the world did you get up there. They don’t understand it is the blessings of God through the faith that is in you. You prosper in all things. Praise God!
