“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jer. 29:11 NKJV).
David was a man that labored to enter into God’s rest. And what was David’s future? He became king. He was victorious over his enemies.
David entered into the rest of God as shown in Psalm 23. Therefore, he was the man that God blessed. God said about him that he is a man after God’s own heart. He was somebody that we read about in the scripture and that even God quotes!
Well, then what is in your future? Your future can be the same. You can be the king. Or in other words, you can be the CEO of your company. You can be the owner of the business. You can be blessed coming in and going out, blessed in the city, blessed in the field. You can be that way, and anybody that comes against you can fall by the wayside, just like David’s enemies.
People have been trying to knock me out for years and I’ve seen them fall by the wayside. It’s not because I’m so great. It’s because the Greater One is on the inside of me. And I just rely on Him, the Holy Ghost. When you keep your eyes on the prize, there is no way you are going down. You are going up. Your future is bright!
The Lord is on your side. Greater is He that’s in you than he that’s in the world. That means He’s greater than the financial problem you’re dealing with. He’s greater than the physical problem you’re dealing with. He is greater than all the persecution that came against you.
And if He delivered you then, He’ll will do it again. Not only has He done it once, He’ll do it again and again. And I got news for you; He’s going to keep on doing it because you labor to enter into that rest. There’s a rest to the people of God.
