Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation….
(1 Pet. 2:2)
Peter is encouraging us to grow up in our salvation. Just because you prayed the prayer does not mean that you have grown up.

Just because you were born into the world as a person obviously doesn't mean that you are a full-grown adult.

In the same way, just because you were born again into the Kingdom does not mean that you're a full-grown Christian. You have to get mature in your salvation.

I want you to take a few minutes and just meditate on the verse above. When I say meditate, I mean I want you to read it over and over and over and over again. Think about what it means. Take as much time as you need to memorize it.

Take this Scripture with you all day today. Chew on it all day with the commitment, "Lord, I am going to grow up in my salvation. The Bible says to do it, and I am going to do it. I have grown a little bit, but I am not grown up yet."
