Establishing a plan of action is something you need in your motivation for leadership. Write the vision baby! Write it down. Write it for your life!

Then the LORD answered me and said: "Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it."
(Hab. 2:2 NKJV)
I like how the Living Bible says it:
And the Lord said to me, "Write my answer on a billboard, large and clear, so that anyone can read it at a glance and rush to tell the others."
(Hab. 2:2 TLB)
Write it on a BILLBOARD so that everyone can see it. You may not have to get that extreme but you get the idea here!

You need to keep the vision before you so that you are reminded of your God-given mission. You take that vision and then under that vision you put the one, two and three. Then put your plan of action to fulfill that vision.

Constantly go back to that vision and review those steps. That is what is going to fuel the fire of your desire. There may be days when you are not feeling enthusiastic about what you are doing, go back and see if you are fulfilling those three vision steps!

Does your vision have to match my vision? No, it doesn't, because my steps of getting my mission fulfilled might be different than your steps. Do you understand that? Work within the confines of your enthusiasm.

You might say, "Well Steve, how do I know what those three steps are?" Hey! What fires you up and enthuses you the most about ministry?

One, two, three...it is easy.

I heard John C. Maxwell say one time that the easiest way to learn is in "threes." He stated that most lessons that are remembered are done in "threes."

In fact, I heard Miles Monroe say the same thing. He encourages people (when they are teaching or preaching) to put everything down into three points because it is easy to remember.

You always remember the first one and you always remember the last one and there is only one point in between. So, put it down in three.

Put a plan down. Write your vision!
