(Josh. 1:8)
Prosperity and success belong to doers of the Word. We are to focus our attention on acting on the Word. The first definition of prosperity is to become mentally intelligent, to gain the wisdom of God in any situation.
The second definition of the word prosperity also means to PUSH FORWARD and to BREAK OUT. When we become a doer of the Word we are then able to push forward, and break out of the prison that is keeping us bound.
Over in Isaiah 61, the Word prophesies that Jesus has the power to open the prison to them who are bound. The world tries to keep us conformed to its death cycle of negativism and defeatism.
The enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy, but the Lord has come to give us LIFE, and LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY (John 10:10).
God has provided a way, and Jesus was our example, on how to be FREE from the cycle. God has provided the way for us to push forward, and to break out of these prison doors that try to hold us bound.
Prosperity Is Freedom
And that way is by meditating on the Word of God until you are able to observe to DO that WORD! By doing that Word you become FREE!
In Jeremiah 7:23, the Word of God says that if we obey God's voice, (His Word) He will be our God, and we will WALK in all the ways He has commanded us, and we will be well.
We are to walk in ALL the ways that He has commanded us to walk. We are to be a doer of ALL the Word. We are to walk the WHOLE way, or ALL the way of the Word. Be committed to the Word.
Set your focus on the Word of God, and go the whole nine yards so to speak, and it will be well with you.
The Word says,
Oh, that you had harkened to My commandments! Then your PEACE and PROSPERITY would have been like a flowing river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.If you are a doer of the Word of God, you will have peace and prosperity. You will push forward through the storms of life. You will break out of the bonds of sin, and you will have good success.
(Isa. 48:18 AMP)
