DEVOTIONAL

Today's featured devotional...
Psalm 15:1-2 (NLT)
Who may worship in your sanctuary, Lord? Who may enter your presence on your holy hill? Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts.

In today's business world telling lies is an everyday occurrence—from the advertisements that promise things about products that are not true to businesses exaggerating the truth about their revenues and product sales.

Part of doing what is always right is telling the truth always—not only when it's convenient, but also when it's difficult. We all have opportunities to tell the truth or to tell a lie. We must be careful to not shade the truth or exaggerate it. This is the same as lying. The Bible says, "The truth will set you free" (John 8:32 NLT). We must not be afraid of telling the truth, for it is a promise of God that if we do what is right and speak the truth from sincere hearts, we will worship in His sanctuary and be in His presence.

Remember this promise the next time you are faced with telling the truth or not.
