Come Lord Jesus

by | A Verse A Day

“He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.”

(Rev. 22:20 NASB)

As we end another year and contemplate what God intends for us in the future, we must put our complete and total trust in the things He has said about us in the Word of God.

All that God has and the fullness of what God does is revealed to us in the statements and promises of the Bible. One of the greatest promises He left with us is that He would come back to earth again when all things where made ready.

The Message Bible says: “He who testifies to all these things says it again: ‘I’m on my way! I’ll be there soon!’ Yes! Come, Master Jesus!”

Jesus is coming back to this earth again. He’s coming because He promised He would. He will come in all His power and all His glory. He won’t come as He did the first time, in a lowly manger bed, but will come in all His royal radiance as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

He’s coming for the completion of all things. He’s coming to receive us unto Himself. So come quickly Lord Jesus.

Today’s Thought to Take With You:

I look for the soon return of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Come Lord Jesus.
