By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
It is through Jesus Christ that we can approach God and stand in His favor. Our access to God is an over and done with work. Nothing separates us or hinders us from getting right in the personal presence of God Himself.
The Message Bible says: And that’s not all: We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open his door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand—out in the wide-open spaces of God’s grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise.
Jesus has given us a glimpse of God’s grace, His undeserved kindness. The way He see things is vastly different than what I can see all by myself. The longer we stand in this grace, observing and receiving it, the more like Christ we will become. And so we end up telling everyone about our hope of sharing in God’s glory!
My approach to God is wide open. Jesus has brought me into God’s grace and love. Today I walk accordingly.
