Once you determine in your heart that Jesus is there, why not acknowledge Him like I do first thing in the morning? And why not go a step further and actually acknowledge that He’s with you throughout the day? Why not keep up the communication throughout the day?
How do you keep up communication with the Lord throughout the day? By listening to Him speak through your spirit man and through the Word. I call that continually looking upward to God.
You’re aware of His presence and you’re consulting Him throughout the day. Since you know that He’s there and listening, you have somebody to lean on, to bounce problems and situations off during the day. You’ve got some comfort!
That is when the action of faith can come in. Since you’re tuned into God and have your spiritual “ears” open, He can lead you much better than if He had to compete with everything else begging for your listening ears. He can steer you from a destructive path or quicken you to say or do something to help somebody else.
But the best part is that you have someone Who will stand by your side no matter what happens. You have someone Who will never leave you or forsake you, Who will always be there to love on you when you need it. You have a reservoir of love, joy and wisdom just waiting to be tapped into.
That is God. And when you are communicating with Him daily, you’re walking with faith, attitude and action! That is where the miracles are!
