And all the people were trying to touch Him, for power was coming from Him and healing them all.
It would take a certain level of trust to be in that crowd that day and also to be one that reached out and touched Jesus. Can we trust Him like that today? The Bible says that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever (Heb 13:8). The desire for the touch of Jesus must move us to action. We have a part. We must reach out.
The Message Bible says: Everyone was trying to touch him – so much energy surging from him, so many people healed!
Imagine a headline like this in today?s paper. ?All Healed Who Touched Jesus.? The article would say that everyone was trying to touch Jesus, because power was going out from Him healing them all. Would you have been one in the crowd reaching out to connect with the power of God? Would you have been one to touch Jesus? It is clearly God?s will to heal you. Let your heart dare to believe. He wants you to touch Him in faith. You will not be disappointed.
I have earnest anticipation of Jesus? healing power.
