How much time do you think you have spent in waiting rooms?
If you add up all the hours that a person has spent waiting, it could probably add up to a lifetime. However, one reason people hate waiting rooms so much is because they hate to wait.
But I’ve got news for you; as long as you are alive, you are going to have to operate in patience.
But wait a minute. God has given us the ability to wait, right? And He has told us how to wait. He has commanded us to operate in a word called “patience.”
Patience means steadfastness, endurance, perseverance. Through patience you learn how to be steadfast, how to be unmoved, how to endure over a sustained period of time, how to persevere and keep on going, even through hard times.
You may believe God for something. Thank God, He does answer prayer. He answers your prayer when you pray in faith. He will turn it around for you. However, with God payday is not every Friday. You have to learn to operate in patience, so that you can stand steadfast long enough in faith before God to see your victory.
Someone may ask, “How long is long enough?” Long enough is long enough. You stand until you see your victory.
These days we want everything in a hurry. We want it right now! After believing God for two months, we think that is long enough, that whatever we have believed for should be manifested – now!
But in the Word of God we can see how people believed God for years before certain things came to pass.
By adding some patience, endurance, and steadfastness to your faith, you will learn how to never give up – and eventually win every time.
