“Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works” (John 14:10).
Jesus said, “I’m not healing people. The Father inside Me is the One doing the works. He’s healing them through Me.” He also said, “The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise” (John 5:19).
Anytime God can get inside a human body, He’ll start doing the same works He did through Jesus. That’s why in John 14:12, Jesus said, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” Jesus was saying, “I’ll go to the Father, and God will come live inside you.”
The entire plan of God is to dwell inside of us: “Know ye not that ye are the temple of the living God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” (1 Cor. 3:16). We are the temple of the Holy Spirit. That’s why the believer’s ministry is so powerful.
If you’re a believer, God already lives inside you. Now it’s up to you to release His power residing within you through faith. As you do, He will start doing the same works through you that He did through Jesus!
I am the temple of the living God; the Spirit of God dwells in me. Jesus said that as I believe on Him, I am able to do the works He did—and even greater works—because my Father does the work through me.
