“The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ” (2 Cor. 10:4,5).
If you think like the world thinks, eventually you will act like the world acts. Wrong thoughts produce wrong acts. So control your thoughts by reading the Bible and bringing them into obedience to God’s Word.
Program your mind with the Word of God. The Word is spirit and it is life. When your mind is full of God’s Word, you become stronger and you can overcome ungodly thoughts and bad habits.
Don’t let Satan trick you into giving up God’s power in your life for a few moments of selfishness and sin. Take control of your thought life. Think about what the Bible says instead of thinking sinful thoughts. Keep your eyes on Jesus – and you’ll find yourself thinking a whole new way!
