“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Rom. 10:17 KJV).
Did you know that if you tried to make a withdrawal on something you don’t have, you would have insufficient funds? Well the same is true with faith. It you tried to make a withdrawal on something bigger than what you put on the inside of you, the result will be insufficient faith.
But you and I can have sufficient faith – more than enough faith. God’s Word tells us that faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God.
It’s very important to have enough faith to deal with any circumstance in your life. That’s why you need to systematically deposit the Word of God in you everyday. So in a situation where your head shuts off and your spirit takes over, what comes out is exactly what you deposited in.
Once, I heard a man testify that he was in a plane crash and the jet fuel started spilling out and ignited, then a big fireball started from the front of the fuselage and was coming toward the back of the plane.
He said he heard people screaming, cursing, and cursing God, but what came out of his mouth was, “The Blood Of Jesus!” And that big fireball was coming right at him, then he looked up and saw a hole in the roof of the plane. I mean, he kept saying it, and the next thing he knew he was on top of the plane. He said he ran down the top of the fuselage, jumped on the wing and off the edge of it.
Now, your brain is like a computer and if it gets overloaded, it will turn off and your spirit will take over. So what was in those people’s spirits came out of their mouth. However, this man didn’t die because he deposited the Word in his heart, there was protection in his heart.
That’s why it’s important to confess protection and plead the blood of Jesus over your family as well as yourself everyday. I make sure I do, and I also plead the blood over my property and all that concerns me.
Understand this: when you’re in any situation, rather good or bad, an action is going to take place. So make a decision to act and release faith and receive God’s will for your life. A good man out of the good deposit of his heart will bring forth good things.
