Have you ever felt like your life has hit a wall? Perhaps you even feel that way today.

Trust me, you’re not alone. We all face hardships, disappointments, and setbacks at one time or another.

But I want you to know . . .

The resistance and pressure you’re facing are about to propel you to the next level.

In life, we never travel from mountaintop to mountaintop. We move from mountaintop through the valley to the next mountaintop. It’s during our time in the valley that prepares us for the next level.

Your enemy, Satan, wants you to get stuck in the valley and believe that you’ll never make it to the next mountaintop. He doesn’t roll over and play dead just because you have a dream. He’ll do everything he can to get you to stay down, to feel defeated, deflated and unusable.

But anybody who’s achieved great things has learned to bounce! Here’s what I mean. When a ball hits against a hard surface, it bounces off that surface and moves in the opposite direction.

Think about this: The harder the hit, the higher the bounce.

It’s time to get your bounce back!

If you want to be the success God created you to be, you’ll have to learn how to bounce when your life hits a wall.

In order to bounce, we have to stop making some common excuses that so easily deflate us. Excuses like:
• It’s too hard.
• It’s taking too long.
• There’s too much opposition.
• I’m too unqualified.
• It’s too late for me.

Maybe what you’re going through looks impossible. Maybe you thought circumstances would be easier. But look what God is saying to you (Isaiah 41:10):

“I will STRENGTHEN you and HARDEN you to difficulty!”

We have to get to the place where we say, “This is no surprise to God. He knew I could handle this. I will grow through it and come out stronger than ever before!” We can either live hurt and defeated, or rise up and rebound to a higher level.

When it seems too hard . . . BOUNCE!

James Dyson had an idea for the world’s first bagless vacuum cleaner when he was in his early 30’s. It took him 5,126 failures until he finally got the vacuum cleaner right. Can you imagine? Even then, he was faced with more resistance when no one in the U.S. wanted to distribute it. But he persevered.

After 16 years of manufacturers turning him down, he finally started his own company to market the product. Today, Sir James Dyson is worth £3 billion because he refused to give up!

Don’t trade your DEADLINE for God’s TIMING.

Habakkuk 2:3 says, “This vision is for a future time . . . it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.”

No matter how long it takes . . . keep bouncing!

So many times, we think that if we hit that one success or fulfill that one dream, we’ll have made it! But you never outgrow warfare. The devil hopes the pressure will cause you to shrink back and give up on God’s plan. In your own strength, it may seem like too much.

Think about David. He was only a shepherd boy when he faced Goliath. All he had was a slingshot and a couple of stones, but with God’s help that was all David needed.

Like Joyce Meyer says, “God didn’t give us the Holy Spirit to do easy things.” With God, you are equipped with everything you need to face the opposition and WIN!

So, let’s shut those excuses up and bounce! Because you can have excuses or results, but you can’t have both.

Let me remind you: develop and express a heart of gratitude no matter what pressure you’re under. God is about to propel you forward as you BOUNCE!
