He Will Guide You Through

by | Uncategorized

“He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart” (Isa. 40:11)

God desires to be a part of your life. If you sang for the first time in front of a group of people, He was right there saying, “That’s my girl.” If your friend betrayed you and you felt crushed and broken, your Father God saw that and hurt for you.

I love that God is El Roi, “the God who sees” (Gen. 16:13). He’s the God who knows everything, and He still loves us intimately. He wants us to tell Him what’s going on and how we feel.
There are times when I’m upset and I tell Him the whole situation.

There are times when I’m really scared about things, but I’ve learned to stretch out my hand and say, “Father God, hold my hand and walk me through this. I can’t make it without You, but with You, I can do all things” (Phil. 4:13).

It’s just like a little girl with so many things all over her room that she can’t see the way to walk out of it. Then her dad comes, takes her by the hand, and says, “Come on, I’ll guide you through.”

Every time I feel insecure or scared, or when circumstances seem out of control, I hold His hand. The best part is that I know He holds me. And He holds you too.1

Make Your Day Count
Reach out your hand to God today and call out to Him. He will hold your hand as you face each and every circumstance today. Think about the fact that He’s there with you, comforting you, helping you, cheering you on. Then be sure to praise Him for His goodness and faithfulness to you.

In November 1975, Buddy and Pat Harrison launched Harrison House Publishers, releasing their first titles in 1976. Since then, Harrison House has published and distributed more than 100 million books in 42 languages and in more than 175 countries. Since Dr. Harrison's homegoing in November of 1998, Harrison House has continued to publish the uncompromised Word of God.

2009 brought unprecedented changes to the publishing world, and Harrison House experienced changes as well. Press Group, a local printer and vendor, purchased Harrison House in April 2009, merging two complementary companies into one. With printing facilities, warehousing, and technology now under one roof, Harrison House is able to provide faster turn times, more accurate order processing, and better stock levels than ever before. We are truly poised to further the vision God put in the hearts of Buddy and Pat Harrison over 30 years ago: taking the Word of God to the world, impacting generations for His Kingdom.
