Healing is Simple

by | 365 Days of Healing, Devotions

“And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people” (Matt. 9:35).

God’s Word is simple and easy to understand. He didn’t make it complicated, because He didn’t want anyone left out of His blessings.

Yet some people are deceived into thinking it’s hard to receive from God, especially in the area of divine healing. They beg, plead, cry, bawl and squall to be healed, but to no avail.

However, it’s easy to receive healing. Why would it be hard to obtain something that already belongs to us? Jesus purchased healing for us with the stripes on His back. We just have to reach out and take what is already ours!

The only reason it has seemed difficult to receive healing is that we’ve lacked a thorough understanding of Jesus’ work on the Cross. Thank God, what Jesus provided for us in the Atonement is simple to receive.

Think about it: Was it difficult to get saved? No, we simply found out God loved us, believed in our hearts Jesus was raised from the dead and confessed Him as our Savior. Well, healing is received the same way. We find out healing is God’s will for us, believe in our hearts we receive our healing and confess Jesus as our healer.

It’s as simple as that. We are healed by faith just as we are saved by faith. As we learn to appropriate what already belongs to us, we will walk in blessings far beyond what we can ask or think!

Confession:

Healing is simple. I know God wants me well. I know

Jesus’ body was broken for me so I could have His health.

So right now I believe I receive my healing.
