“Behold the former things are come to pass. And new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them” (Isa. 42:9).
Are you still looking over your shoulder? Well, that’s what turned Lot’s wife into a pillar of salt. God told them not to look back, but she looked back anyway. Well, I’m here to tell you it’s time to look forward because this is a new day, a new time, and a new season in your life.
It’s time to move on to a new thing. Yes, it’s time for us to move to a new level in God – to a new level of anointing in the Holy Ghost. For behold the former things are come to pass. And new things do I declare in your life.
So stop singing about the past. It’s time to sing a new song of victory. It’s time to sing, “I’m healed, delivered, and set free because the Lord is on my side!”
Isaiah 43:19 says, “behold I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth.” The same verse also talks about rivers in the desert. You see, God wants to make rivers in the desert places in your life. A desert may be dry, but that doesn’t stop God. He will give you fresh anointing and He will make a way out of no way in the desert.
God’s word says many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers them out of them all. Remember that He is your deliverer. So lift up your hands oh ye gates and be ye lifted up ye everlasting doors. For the King of glory is coming in. The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle is fighting on your side.
The Lord will help you get to the victories in your life. He has a future for you – a new day, a new time, and a new anointing.
It’s all right to thank God for His goodness last year, but you ought to be looking at what your God is doing this year. You ought to say, I am looking to July and August with expectation; and I know September is going to be good, and October is going to be better. Yes, and November is going to be stupendous, and December will be marvelous.
Why? It’s because God is on your side. So let the past remain in the past and move on. Look to the new victories in your life because your future is bright in Jesus.
