Jesus: The Doorway to Heaven

by Keith Butler | Uncategorized

“I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture” (John 10:9).

Your body gives you authority here in the earth. Have you ever noticed that when people lose this body they lose authority here?

God is a very legal being. He gave Adam authority in the earth, by giving him a flesh and blood body. He gave Adam authority and to do as he would, to serve God or not serve God with it.

Obviously, he didn’t serve God with it and he died. So, God has to send Jesus, the second Adam. But he couldn’t just create Jesus, put Him in the earth and give Him authority. No, that man was going to have to come through the door of natural birth.

Now, Satan gained authority not through natural birth, but through trickery and chicanery. Jesus said he is a thief and a robber. Since your father passes down the nature of death to you, Satan thought he had it all figured out.

Adam has the nature of death; and everyone has to have a father. So, we were all born with the nature of death. Satan thought, Everybody is under my authority. Everybody’s got death. But God said, “I’ve got a plan.”

God is smart. He sent Jesus through the door of natural birth. But Jesus was born of a virgin. Mary was willing to receive His word by faith. That child that came out of her womb had a daddy, but it was not Adam.

It was God.

Jesus was a flesh and blood man, born into this world without sin. He came through the doorway of natural birth. He is like the first Adam before he sinned.

Jesus said, “Now I came through the door of natural birth without the nature of sin. Therefore, I am the Savior.” The only way you can get to heaven is that you have to come through the door of natural birth into a spiritual door – Jesus.

That is why the only way you can be saved is that you have to receive Jesus Christ by faith.

Hari Krishna is not the way. Buddha is not the way. Muhammad is not the way. Church attendance is not even the way. You have to go through the door; His name is Jesus. When you walk through the door of Jesus you receive God’s eternal life.
