Trent and Jessica grew up as pastor's kids, Trent in Minnesota and Jessica in Iowa. They met in a ministry internship in Minnesota in 2005 and were married in 2007. After they were married, they both served in many capacities at Beyond Church in Alma, Arkansas. Their desire has always been to help where needed.

They attended Rhema Bible Training College in Broken Arrow, OK, from 2015 to 2017. During this time, the Lord began to bring up things He had put in their hearts a long time ago. After graduating Rhema, Trent, Jessica, and their two kids moved back to Arkansas to reconnect with Beyond Church. In 2018, they moved to England to help with Rhema UK and Ireland and a church plant in London.

In March 2022, they moved back to Minnesota to Living Word to help establish Accelerate Bible Training College (a Bible school with an emphasis on church planting and mission training). They are excited to help accelerate the plan and purpose of God and be a part of training up believers in this season.

They have two children, a son, Aaron, and a daughter, Taylor. Trent enjoys the great outdoors, camping, reading, triathlons, and spending time with his family. Jessica loves reading, all things Star Wars, and coffee, lots of coffee! They both enjoy playing games together, hiking, and camping as a family!
