Outlook 2010-2013 IMAP Setup

Step 1. Navigate to your Account Settings:

Open Outlook 2010 or 2013
Click the File menu, and then select Info
In the Account Information window, click Account Settings, and then click Account Settings again from the menu that appears.

Step 2. Open the Account Settings window:

Select Account Settings and click
Click New
Click E-mail Account
Click Manually configure server settings or additional server types
Click Internet E-mail

Enter your Name
Enter full e-mail address ([email protected])
Account Type change to IMAP
Incoming mail server: mail.powerxmail.com
Outgoing mail server: smtp.powerxmail.com
User Name: full e-mail address ([email protected])
Enter password
Check Remember password


Click on More Settings

Step 3. Update Outgoing Server:

Check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
Choose Use same settings as my incoming mail server

Step 4. Update Advanced Tab:

Choose Advanced Tab (in More settings)
Incoming server (IMAP) 143
Check TLS
Outgoing server (SMTP) 25
Check TLS
Server Timeouts set to LongAdvanced
Ok

Click Test Account Settings

Note: If you receive an error, double-check that all steps were completed correctly and that your Internet connection is active. When the test is successful, click Next

Congratulations! You’re done.
