Pastor Hugo Bellido came to America in 1989. He was raised as a Catholic, but became a Christian in 1993. In 2007, God confirmed his call to be a pastor when his pastor stepped down and Hugo was asked to take over the church until they hired a permanent pastor. As a result of that experience, Hugo started studying at Global University to finish his studies to be a pastor. During that time, he and his family attended Living Word. In 2011, he started his own church; however, Pastor Hugo felt led of God to bring his group to Living Word and join efforts to launch Living Word Espanol. In April 2013, he was hired as the pastor of Living Word Espanol.
