This New Year holds great and supernatural blessings for God’s children. Set your Awesome God Inspired Goal and get ready to blessed!
For this next year, what is your A.G.I.G.? You might ask, what is an A.G.I.G.?
It is an Awesome God Inspired Goal…a goal that without God’s assistance you will not see manifest. But you know it will manifest because God has birthed it in your spirit.
In Psalm 37:4, we are told that God will give us the desires of heart. I believe this is a two-fold process. First, God births the desire in your heart for you to do something for His Kingdom and His glory. Then, as we follow His Spirit and walk it out, God will bring that desire to fruition.
The devil will never inspire you or call you to do something great for God. But God will place a seed of the desire into your heart, and if you will water it with His Word and the anointing, then it will begin to grow. If you do not allow the enemy to cause you to quit, you will see that A.G.I.G. come to pass!
There are three things to remember as you enter into a new year and as you walk out your A.G.I.G.
- Your goals must be bigger than your failures.
The enemy will try to remind you of how you have failed in the past, of how you have missed it. Just remember, that was yesterday…this is TODAY! Use this opportunity of a new year to set that goal or reclaim that goal and go for it – in Jesus’ mighty name! - Don’t allow the nay-sayers or doubters to rob you.
Rick Renner has a book entitled “Dream Thieves” that I read when I was serving as a pastor. It gave me the revelation I needed to recognize and overcome the various types of situations and individuals which may try to steal my destiny.Basically, there are two groups of people out there. One group will help you to grow in faith. There are others who will encourage you to grow in unbelief; they will help your doubt and unbelief get stronger. Avoid situations and individuals who fit into that latter category.
- Allow God to “season” your A.G.I.G.
Many of the goals we established for this past year have come to pass in a supernatural way, while others have only begun to grow. We have not seen the fullness of those desires come to pass; however, we are not giving up on those desires, for they were birthed by God.We will simply allow them to grow and be seasoned into this year, and maybe even longer, if need be. The point is this: we will not give up on seeing the desire of our hearts coming to pass.
Joseph’s dream was given to him as a young man and it came into its fullness when he was approximately 30 years old. Praise God, he did not give up on his A.G.I.G.
