Special Anointings

by Mark Harper | Uncategorized

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil…” (Acts 10:38). One way to receive healing is through a special healing anointing. Any believer can pray for the sick. But some ministers are anointed with a special healing anointing. Jesus and the Apostle Paul both ministered with this healing anointing.

Paul spent two years ministering at a city called Ephesus. The apostle Paul wrote the book of Ephesians to the Christians at Ephesus.

While Paul was at Ephesus, he preached the Word, founded a church, and ministered with a special healing anointing.

God did extraordinary miracles through Paul, so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them.
(Acts 9:11-12)

Because the Lord never changes, this same method of healing works today. Praise the Lord for His healing anointing.

Today some ministry gifts are anointed the same way that Paul was. Not everyone has a healing anointing, but some men of God have a special anointing to heal the sick.

You might know someone needing healing who is in the hospital and is unable to come to a church to receive prayer. One way to solve this problem is to take a handkerchief or cloth to the meeting and ask the minister to lay hands on the hanky when he is ministering under the healing anointing.

After it has been prayed for, you can take the handkerchief or cloth to the person in the hospital. Lay it on the person who is sick and expect God to work a special miracle.
