“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…” (John 1:1,14).
Jesus Christ was the Word that became flesh and dwelt among us. During His earthly ministry, Jesus healed all who came to Him in faith. Now we have the written Word, and it’s full of healing from one end to the other.
No wonder God said, “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions” (Ps. 107:20). No wonder He said, “Attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh” (Prov. 4:20-22).
If we take time to read and study the Word, the revelation knowledge that God wants us healthy and whole will become a part of us. We’ll be able to step into a life of divine health. You see, we can only receive healing by faith when we know it’s God’s will to heal us, because faith is believing God’s known will and acting like it’s true. We have to know the Word says healing is ours.
Jesus, the Word made flesh, was sent to heal us. When we received Jesus as Savior, He also became our healer. Now, by inspiration of the Holy Ghost, we’ve been given the Word in written form.
No matter how we look at the Word, we’ll find healing from every angle, because in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. Jesus is the Word, and Jesus is the healer!
God’s Word was sent to heal me. I attend to His Word and keep it before my eyes, and it becomes life to me. His Word becomes medicine to my flesh, and I am healed and made whole.
