The Counsel of the Ungodly

by Dennis Burke, Ph.D. | Uncategorized

God wants you to prosper in all things, including the material realm.

Psalm 1:1-3 reveals how you must view things in order to see barriers removed. “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night.  He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.”

The people you surround yourself with reveal a great deal about you.

Even though God may use you to minister to those who do not know how to live a victorious life, you must have relationships with those who make deposits into your life.  You need the supply of others who will stretch your capacity for increase.

If you embrace the counsel of those who do not have a close relationship with God, you will start down a path you really do not want to travel.

The influence of those who live in unbelief or strife will have an effect on you. So choose your friends carefully.
