And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, “Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.”
(Acts 9:17 KJV)
Ananias went his way, entered into his house, put his hands on Saul, said, “Brother Saul.”
Brother Saul. He used to be enemy Saul. Now, he’s brother Saul. God will change your enemies from coming against you to helping you pray in the Holy Spirit.
After Ananais ministered to Saul, God immediately opened the door for Saul – now Paul – to preach the gospel. It says “straightway.” Straightway means suddenly. Suddenly he preached Christ in the synagogue. This man came to Damascus to kill Christians. Now he’s leaving Damascus preaching the gospel!
What A Turnaround!
What is he preaching? “Jesus saved me. Jesus healed me. Jesus filled me with the Holy Spirit. Jesus made a way for me out of no way.”
God will take your enemy on your job, and take the enemy in your family, and take the enemy in the street, and as you pray for them in the name of Jesus – He will suddenly save them. Suddenly, God will change them. Suddenly, God will make the difference.
That’s why He said don’t be moved by the things you see but by the things you don’t see. For the things that you see are temporal, they are subject to change. And I like to add that they are subject to change suddenly.
All Of A Sudden
One minute you don’t have any money. And the next minute the Lord opens the windows of heaven and pours you out a blessing that you don’t have room enough to receive it. One minute your body is wracked with pain and you may be in a wheelchair, but suddenly, the healing power of God flows from the crown of your head to the very soles of your feet and you jump up healed.
The enemy may have caused doors to be closed in your life. It looks like there’s no way for you, but you continue to believe God and then suddenly…suddenly God opens the door and makes a way out of no way.
Put your trust in God. He’ll make a way for you. Suddenly He’ll do it for you. Suddenly He’ll cause you to be blessed. Yes, you might have been standing in faith for a long time. I’m here to tell you that if you remain constant on the Word of God, something good is coming your way; and it is coming suddenly!
