The Power is in You – Get in the War

by Keith Butler | The Anointed Word

“Then saith he unto his disciples, the harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few; pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest” (Matt. 9:37:38).

Listen, it’s time to stop being Christians who only want to go to a nice church and get blessed. We can’t be the ones who don’t want to minister to anybody, help anybody, or get involved with anything else.

If that’s you, the Lord wants me to motivate you to get in the war and use the power that is in you – that’s what this whole thing is about.

Do you understand that with His power, you can take back everything the devil has stolen – are you listening to me? He has stolen your family members, your co-workers, your neighborhoods, and your city.

When are you going to use the power that’s in you? When are you going to get in the war? When are you going to get behind the general, our Lord Jesus Christ, and fight?

You don’t need a pulpit: there’s one right across the street, right next door, or on your job. There’s a pulpit everywhere you go. Don’t worry about what to say, let the Lord fill your mouth and the anointing will show up.

I didn’t start off preaching in a pulpit; I started out preaching on street corners. I didn’t wait for someone to give me a place to preach, or an organization to recognize my ministry. No, God called me and He has called every believer. Don’t be afraid. Be strong in the power that comes from the Lord.

I started off preaching in a street “war zone,” where pimps told me to stop witnessing to the prostitutes or they were going to take me out. You see, the prostitutes were getting saved and the pimps were losing money, but I just keep on preaching.

Yes, Satan will try to intimidate you, but a soldier who throws down his weapon and runs is a coward. Somebody is dying just because a believer won’t get in the war and do his job.

Didn’t somebody reach out to you? Somebody preached, witnessed, left tracks, and got on the radio – somebody was out there. If I asked you how many times you were told about Jesus before you finally accepted the Lord, most of you will only remember the last time. Yet think about all the other times.

God has soldiers with assignments; you were the assignment once. Thank God for those who were used to reach you, now it’s time for you to reach others.
