The Power of Taking Authority

by | Uncategorized

Jesus said, “Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
(Matt. 16:19)

I’ve shed tears and had emotional feelings during my time of transition since my husband, Buddy, went to heaven. You don’t live with someone 40 years and not have feelings. But I have not experienced loneliness except for one day.

I was sitting in my library reading, when all of a sudden I was aware of this “feeling.” I said, “Lord, what is this?” And He said, The spirit of loneliness is trying to come on you.

Immediately I said, “I take authority over the spirit of loneliness in the name of Jesus. I will not have it in me or anywhere around me. I do not receive it.”

Then I began to walk through the house, praying in the Spirit until I had a peace and knew I was free. That spirit of loneliness has never tried to come back.

When a spirit tries to attach itself to you, you must identify it and take authority over it. When something starts happening to you and you try to figure out what it is with your mind, it attaches itself to you more and more. And it stays until you take authority over it.

You can take the authority of the Word and set boundaries around you and your family. Declare the Word over your situation. It can set you free from every spirit that is not from God! 1

Make Your Day Count
Have you sensed something
trying to attach itself to you?
Take authority over every evil spirit,
forbidding any to have a place in your life.
