When I was growing up in school, I was always the smallest boy in the class. Most of the girls were bigger than I me! From the first grade all the way through High School I was known as “Little Jerry.”
I hated it.
If you were little like me, then you got picked on and pushed around; all the big guys bullied you.
My Dad always told me, “Son, if I ever catch you starting a fight, I’m going to whip you. If I ever catch you running from a fight, I’m going to whip you.”
Well I knew I wouldn’t get a whipping for starting any, because I wasn’t big enough to start fights. So I got pushed and bullied around almost everyday, but there finally came a time when I got fed up with it!
Finally, I told that bully, “Time’s up!”
He didn’t think I meant it.
I said, “That’s it! You’re not going to push me around anymore and you’re not going to steal my stuff anymore. I’m tired of you embarrassing me in front of the class. Time’s up!”
He laughed and turned to all the kids standing around watching and said, “Did you hear what little Jerry said?”
Before he got completely turned around again, there was a fist in his nose! I caught him off guard. Much to his surprise (and mine), he landed on his back. I didn’t know I had this kind of power in me. I saw him on the ground with his nose bleeding so I just jumped right in the middle of his chest and finished the job. He was begging me to leave him alone, but I said, “Too bad – time’s up! I’m taking over now!”
And you know what? He never bothered me again.
I believe it’s time for us to tell the devil, “Time’s up! You have plagued me long enough! You’ve kept me bound up long enough! You’ve kept me strapped with debt long enough! You’ve tried to destroy my home, my marriage, and my family, but your time is up in this house, devil – God is taking over!”
There’s a Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On
You better get ready because when God takes over, He’s going to shake up some things that men think can’t be shaken. He’s going to pull down some things men think can’t be pulled down. I like to say it this way – Satan’s days are numbered!
In Isaiah 10:27 notice what God says will happen when the Anointed One comes on the scene: “And it shall come to pass in that day, that His burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and His yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.”
You ought to write in the margin of your Bible, He will bust Satan’s head! I know the correct word is burst but it doesn’t work here. Bust sounds better. The Anointing will destroy, not break, but destroy every yoke from off your neck and leave no evidence that there was ever a yoke there!
What is God saying to the adversary? “Time’s up!” Once again, in Isaiah 61:1-3, we read what the Anointing will do when it comes on the scene: “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me because He has anointed Me to preach good tidings unto the meek. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted. To proclaim liberty to the captives and to the opening of the prison to them that are bound. To proclaim the acceptahle year of the Lord and the day of vengeance of our God. To comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness.”
God is saying, “I’m going to turn your mourning into dancing, turn your sorrow into joy, and take that old garment of heaviness off of you and put on the garment of praise!”
What is God announcing? “Satan, your time’s up, I’m taking over!! You have had them bound up long enough.”
The shakeup has begun and the demons are going to be crying out from here on out because their time is up! They’re going to be crying out, “You weren’t supposed to show up yet, Jesus! I haven’t destroyed them yet!” Jesus caught them off guard here and He’s going to catch them off guard in your behalf!!
The Bible says, the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the just. The Amplified says, “…and eventually it will come into their hands!” (Prov. 13:22). I hear God saying, “Time’s up, devil, I’m taking charge of the finances! Eventually has come!!” So start walking around with your hands out because it’s going to come into your hands!!
You may be saying, “But Brother Jerry, I’m under the greatest pressure I’ve ever experienced.”
That’s an indication that you’ve got the devil right where you want him. His time’s up!
If you’re thinking, “I can’t stand anymore – you don’t realize what’s happened in my life,” – Rejoice! Satan’s time is up!
This is not the time to quit! No! You’ve come too far to quit, glory to God; you are about to win.
God is going to give your adversary a hard time from here on out, Hallelujah! Whatever is troubling you and trying to destroy you – don’t worry about it! God’s working behind the scenes. Demons are trembling right now! Oh, they are shaking! There are alarms going off in Satan’s domain! They hear God’s voice crying out, “Time’s up!”
It’sTtime To Send ’em Packin’!
The greatest harvest, the greatest miracles, the greatest manifestations, and the greatest financial blessings are upon us! Time’s up where the devil is concerned! It’s your time now!
Mark 1:27 (The Message) says, “Everyone was incredulous, buzzing with curiosity. ‘What’s going on here?’ they said. A new teaching that does what it says? He shuts up defiling, demonic spirits and sends them packing!”‘
That old demon of lack in your life is going to get up, pack and move out! That old demon of sickness and disease is going to pack up and leave, Hallelujah! You know why? Because time’s up around your house! God’s issuing a war cry again; the signs of the times are indicating to us that the Anointed One is about to make a second appearance.
James 4:7 says, “Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”
The Message translation says it this way: “So let God work His will in you. Yell a loud NO to the devil and watch him scamper. Say a quiet YES to God and He’ll be there in no time…”
What’s God saying? It’s time to quit playing church. It’s time to quit playing games. Humble yourself before the mighty hand of God, resist the devil and he will flee from you. Get fed up where the devil is concerned!
Satan’s not going to have his way in your life any more. He’s going to be packing up and moving out! I challenge you to shout at the devil right now and just let him know how fed up you are with him trying to destroy your life.
Let him know that as of today, he will no longer have his way in your household – his time is up! Make a declaration of faith and stick to it – his days are numbered. The Anointed One is about to make His second appearance, so get ready! As far as you’re concerned, “Time’s up devil – God is taking over!”
