Walking in Revelation Knowledge

by Keith Butler | The Anointed Word

“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come” (John 16:13).

God’s supernatural treasure of wisdom and knowledge’s is hidden in Jesus. God hid it from Satan in order to keep it reserved for the believer. One way to tap into this revelation knowledge is by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the one who reveals this wisdom and knowledge to us. To get answers to our situation we need exact information.

The revealed knowledge from the Holy Spirit is exact. The Holy Spirit is in your spirit. He transmits knowledge from Himself to your spirit without error. Your spirit is a safe guide, because you are a new creation in Christ Jesus.

In John 16:13 the Bible says that the Holy Spirit will guide us into all things. In the Greek, the words guide you mean to show the way. The Holy Spirit will show us, reveal to us, the way. The Holy Spirit speaks to us what He hears from our Heavenly Father and Jesus, our Lord.

The word show means to announce. The Holy Spirit will announce things to come: He will announce your future. Do you know the Holy Spirit knows what’s going to happen on your job, in your marriage and in your future? He knows what to do concerning your finances. He knows everything there is about you. Guess where that information resides? It resides on the inside of you.

That’s why praying in other tongues is so important. The more you pray in tongues, the more spiritually sensitive to what’s in your spirit you become.

For example, several years ago, I was praying for an hour or two, seeking the face of God and I heard the Holy Spirit say, that is, announce to me: “I didn’t tell you to go to such and such Bible school. I told you to go to Rhema. Now He said it in past tense; He said, “I told you …” In other words, The Holy Spirit had been telling me before, but I hadn’t picked it up. Then He told me what He wanted me to do.

This can happen for you. You might say, Bishop Butler, I don’t understand. But the Holy Spirit understands. So spend time in the prayer and let the Holy Spirit announce to you the things that are happening in your life.
