What Is Healing Worth to You?

by Terri Savelle Foy | Healing

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
(Josh. 1:8)

You have to make an investment in your freedom and your healing. I did. I remember purchasing $60 worth of faith-building CDs online, and I couldn’t believe I was spending so much money on the Word. Then I thought, “I would easily spend that much on a new outfit. This is my freedom we’re talking about!”

What is healing worth to you? What are you willing to invest in now so that you can get well? Get your hands on as many faith-building messages as you can—especially ones that deal with the problem you are facing.

How much or how little you hear the Word depends on how soon you want to see results in your life. Joshua 1:8 says, “This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night“.

Don’t skip a day without taking the medicine of God’s Word that will bring healing. You are reading from a girl who was filled with insecurities, inferiorities, untreated wounds, brokenness, hiding it all under a wealth of activity and a big smile.

It wasn’t until I got serious about hearing God’s Word daily that I began to change. And I’m still changing. But it started one day at a time.

I haven’t changed by one miraculous encounter. It’s been little by little hearing God’s Word every day, and not getting discouraged because it appeared nothing was changing. Little by little, my real smile returned. I began to laugh again. I began to dream again. Little by little, we change. The secret of your future is hidden in your daily agenda.
