Angels are God’s spirit messengers (Heb. 1:14). Everyone has at least one guardian angel (Matt. 18:10).
Angels are special creations. The Bible says there are tens of thousands (Dan.7:10).
Angels are spirits. They are invisible. However, there have been times when God has allowed people to see angels.
Angels are powerful creatures (2 Thess. 1:7). But they are not all-powerful like God. At one time Lucifer, a top-ranking angel, led a rebellion against God. He and his followers were cast out of Heaven. Lucifer becamse Satan. His followers became demons.
Angelic Activities
Angels keep busy. It’s good they don’t have to take time to sleep.
- Praise God (Isa. 6:1-4)
- Deliver God’s messages to people (Matt. 1:20)
- Help God’s people (Ps. 91:11)
- Punish God’s enemies (Acts 12:21-23)
- Explain God’s plans (Dan. 10:13-14)
- Bring answers to prayer (Luke 1:13)
- Rejoice over people who turn from their sins to God (Luke 15:7-10)
The angel Gabriel told Mary that Jesus was going to be born. The archangel Michael is the commander in chief of God’s army of angels.
Angels may be disguised as ordinary people. Abraham entertained three visitors and later realized they were angels (Gen. 18:1-2, 19:1).

In November 1975, Buddy and Pat Harrison launched Harrison House Publishers, releasing their first titles in 1976. Since then, Harrison House has published and distributed more than 100 million books in 42 languages and in more than 175 countries. Since Dr. Harrison's homegoing in November of 1998, Harrison House has continued to publish the uncompromised Word of God.
2009 brought unprecedented changes to the publishing world, and Harrison House experienced changes as well. Press Group, a local printer and vendor, purchased Harrison House in April 2009, merging two complementary companies into one. With printing facilities, warehousing, and technology now under one roof, Harrison House is able to provide faster turn times, more accurate order processing, and better stock levels than ever before. We are truly poised to further the vision God put in the hearts of Buddy and Pat Harrison over 30 years ago: taking the Word of God to the world, impacting generations for His Kingdom.
