You Can Believe for Your Miracle

by | 365 Days of Healing, Devotions

“And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague” (Mark 5:34).

If this woman’s faith made her whole, our faith can make us whole as well.

Sometimes folks say, “Oh, but it was easier for her. Jesus was standing right there!” No, not a chance. You see, this woman wasn’t born again. The new birth wasn’t available until the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.

Therefore, the woman was under the old covenant. She wasn’t alive unto God. She wasn’t filled with the Holy Ghost. She wasn’t a temple of the living God. Her redemption hadn’t been purchased yet.

This woman received her blessings on a promissory note. Jesus was saying, “I’ll give them to you now, and I’ll pay for them later.”

Some say, “Yes, but it was still easy for her to believe for her healing because Jesus was standing right there.” Well, where is Jesus today? He said, “My Father and I will come and make our abode with you. Where two or more are gathered in My name, there I am in their midst” (John 14:23; Matt. 18:20).

Jesus is in us through the person of the Holy Spirit. We live under a new and better covenant established upon better promises. We should not only be able to do the same things this woman did, but it should be a lot easier!

We’re full of the life, nature and ability of God. We’re born-again, new creatures in Christ Jesus. We’re not just friends of God; we’re part of His family – faith sons and daughters of a faith God. We can receive our miracle by faith!

Confession:

I am the child of a healing God. My healing has

already been bought and paid for, and I receive it by faith!
