And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues… (Mk. 16:17).
Notice the phrase, In my name they shall cast out devils…. Now it didn’t say in my name they shall pray. He is talking about people utilizing the key to the kingdom and commanding sickness and disease to come out their bodies.
When I lay hands on people, I am not praying for them. I am commanding their bodies to be healed. I am saying, Come out of that body, in the name of Jesus. Are you listening to me? That is utilizing the key of the kingdom, which is commanding sickness and disease to go.
Now we know there is a time for everything, and yes, there is a time to pray. However, we should have prayed before we got to the problem. Don’t wait until you get to the church to start praying. Pray long before you get here. Start praying about what you are supposed to do next week before next week gets here.
When you study the Word of God ahead of time you will see what His will is. Since the Word clearly tells us to lay hands on the sick, then you don’t have to pray and ask if it’s God’s will. You already read it in His Word.
Now the question is: do you believe what God said? Will you pick up the keys now and believe God’s Word enough to stick the key in the ignition and say, come out in the name of Jesus, and drive off with your healing.
But remember, this works both ways. For instance, if you need to be healed, then expect the faith command to come on you, then you release your faith and say that you are healed in the name of Jesus.
In Matthew 10:1, when Jesus called his 12 disciples, He gave them power against unclean spirits – to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and disease. Well, this was not just for the disciples. He gave that same power to us too. In Matthew 10:5, you can see that Jesus was not with them, He sent them out, but they had His authority
You release the power of the Holy Spirit when you take the keys of the kingdom and start declaring with your mouth what is going to be. Jesus gave you the authority to use His name. So use His name and claim your victory.
